About Us
Calvoren Academy is the education arm of Calvoren.
We exist for one reason: most video-editing education teaches buttons. We teach judgment — why a cut works, how a story holds attention — and the business of getting paid properly for the craft. That's the gap between an editor who stays a vendor and one clients can't replace.
It started small. Praveen built his first edits on a basic phone, turned that into a working video-editing studio, and has since trained 30+ people who now freelance or hold editing jobs of their own. Calvoren Academy is the structured version of everything learned along the way — taught live, in plain language, by people who still do the work.
We run live, cohort-based programs for editors who are serious about turning skill into income.

Last updated: [DATE]
By accessing our website, registering for any program, or joining any Calvoren Academy community space, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Code of Conduct, all of which are incorporated by reference.
3.1 About us
Calvoren Academy is a proprietorship under Calvoren, operated by [PROPRIETOR LEGAL NAME], offering live, cohort-based video-editing programs.
3.2 Eligibility and age
Our programs are intended for individuals 18 years or older at the time of enrollment. Under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, a person below 18 is a minor and cannot enter into a binding contract independently. A minor may be enrolled only by a parent or legal guardian who reads and accepts these Terms, completes payment in their own name, and remains responsible for the minor's compliance with these Terms and our Code of Conduct. We may verify age at any time and may cancel an enrollment, without refund, where false age or identity information was provided.
3.3 Registration, account, and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Access to any program, recording, or community space is personal and non-transferable. Sharing your access or our content with others may result in removal without refund. Access periods, where applicable, are: [COHORT ACCESS PERIODS — e.g. course materials: 1 year from cohort start; community access: duration of cohort].
3.4 Payments and pricing
All prices are listed at the point of registration and processed securely via Razorpay. Promotional prices apply only for the stated period. Your seat or enrollment is confirmed only after successful payment.
3.5 Code of Conduct
By enrolling, you agree to our Code of Conduct & Community Rules, which govern your behaviour in live sessions, on Discord, and in all associated spaces. Serious or repeated violations may lead to removal without refund.
3.6 Intellectual property
All course materials, recordings, frameworks, and content created by Calvoren Academy remain our exclusive property and are protected by law. Your enrollment grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access them for your own learning during the access period. Work you create for assignments remains yours, subject to the marketing consent below.
Recording live sessions. You may not record, screen-capture, screenshot, stream, or otherwise reproduce any live session, its materials, or the contributions of mentors and fellow participants. Live sessions involve people who have not consented to being recorded by others; unauthorised recording may also attract liability under Indian privacy and data-protection law, including the DPDP Act, 2023.
Our right to record. We may record live sessions for internal review, quality improvement, curriculum development, and to give enrolled participants catch-up access, at our discretion. Such recordings are our property.
No commercial use. No recording, screenshot, or reproduction of our content — however obtained — may be resold, redistributed, used to build competing courses, or monetised on any platform.
3.7 Marketing consent
By enrolling, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your name, likeness, written feedback, portfolio work, and testimonials for marketing and community-building across any medium. You may withdraw consent for future use by writing to contactacademy@calvoren.com; this will not affect content already published. We will never attribute content to you in a false or misleading way.
3.8 No guarantee of outcomes
We provide instruction, mentorship, and resources. We do not guarantee specific results, income, or employment. Outcomes depend on your own effort and circumstances.
3.9 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms will not exceed the total fees you paid for the relevant program. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost income or opportunities. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
3.10 Fair-comment clause
We ask that concerns be raised with us directly and in good faith so we can resolve them. You agree not to publish statements about Calvoren Academy that are knowingly false, misleading, or defamatory. We likewise commit never to make false or malicious statements about any student.
(This is a reasonable "no knowingly-false statements" clause — it does not stop honest reviews. Have your lawyer confirm the wording you're comfortable with.)
3.11 Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, public-health emergencies, internet or platform outages (such as Discord or Zoom), power failures, government action, or civil unrest. In such events we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and reschedule or offer alternatives where feasible.
3.12 Modifications
We may update these Terms and our policies from time to time. Updates apply prospectively and will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
3.13 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [CITY, e.g. Jaipur], India.

↑ Back to topCancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: [DATE]
Please read this before completing your purchase. By registering for any Calvoren Academy program, you confirm you have read and accepted this policy.
4.1 Cohort programs (multi-session)
For cohort-based programs, refund requests are accepted only within the first two (2) live sessions of the cohort. Once this window closes, no refunds will be issued, regardless of reason.
4.2 How to request a refund
Email contactacademy@calvoren.com with your full name, registration details, and reason for the request. This email is required and constitutes your formal request. You may also notify us via a Discord support ticket, but a ticket alone does not count as a refund request. Requests made only by DM or other channels will not be processed.
4.3 Processing
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within [15–25] business days. Actual credit time depends on your bank or payment provider.
4.4 Situations where no refund applies
- After the applicable refund window has closed.
- Removal for violating the Code of Conduct, Community Rules, or Terms of Service.
- Subjective dissatisfaction with pace, workload, or content outside the eligible window.
- Failure to attend sessions or complete assignments.
- Disruptions caused by force-majeure events (see Terms, clause 3.11).
4.5 Cohort transfers
If you cannot continue in your enrolled cohort, you may request a transfer to a future cohort within the first month of the program. Transfers are not automatic; they are granted only for genuine, documented circumstances at our discretion. Email contactacademy@calvoren.com to request one.
4.6 No outcome-based refunds
We provide training, mentorship, and resources. Whether you achieve a particular result depends on your own effort, so refunds cannot be claimed on the basis of unmet career or income expectations.
4.7 Contact
Refund or transfer queries: contactacademy@calvoren.com · +91 8003289376.
↑ Back to topCode of Conduct & Community Rules
By enrolling in any Calvoren Academy program, you agree to these standards. They apply everywhere — live sessions, our Discord, and any associated space. This page is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
Part A — Code of Conduct
Commitment. Engage with the content, attend scheduled sessions, and complete your work on time. Come with an open mind.
Effort is yours. We provide instruction, mentorship, and resources — not guaranteed outcomes or one-on-one hand-holding beyond what the program schedules. What you get out is proportional to what you put in.
Respect. Treat every member with kindness regardless of background, identity, or opinion. Listen, and give feedback constructively.
Integrity. Do not plagiarise. Credit your sources and collaborators. Be honest about your progress and ask for help when you need it.
Communication. Keep it clear and respectful. Address disagreements through dialogue focused on the issue, never personal attacks.
Accountability. You own your actions. Repeated violations may lead to a warning or permanent removal without refund.
Harassment — zero tolerance. Any conduct a reasonable person would consider harassing, intimidating, or sexually inappropriate is strictly prohibited — including unsolicited romantic or personal messages, sexually suggestive remarks, comments on appearance, or anything that creates a hostile environment. We are committed to a safe space for everyone, including women in the cohort. Violations reported with evidence result in immediate removal without refund.
Promotions. Do not spam promotional links, other servers, or self-promotion. Anything you share must add real value and include context.
Language. Communicate in English so everyone can take part.
Reporting. If you witness or experience misconduct, report it to staff through the official support ticket system, with evidence where possible.
Part B — Community Rules (Discord)
Identity. Use your real full name as your Discord username. Your profile, nickname, and status must meet community standards.
No trolling. Zero tolerance — results in permanent removal without refund.
No external groups. Creating outside WhatsApp/Discord/Telegram groups tied to this community is prohibited and results in removal.
Support channels. Do not DM mentors or staff. Raise all queries through the official support ticket system.
Off-limits topics. Religious, political, or similarly divisive discussions are not allowed in the community.
No discrimination. Racism, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind results in immediate permanent removal without refund.
No NSFW or spam. Do not post explicit, offensive, or spam content.
Channel etiquette. Use the right channels; keep posts on-topic.
Staff discretion. Decisions made in the community's interest are final. This is a living document and may be updated at any time.
Contact. Report violations via the support ticket system on Discord. For formal correspondence: contactacademy@calvoren.com.
