I'm Praveen. I've spent years inside DaVinci Resolve and Fusion — the same tools used in world-class post-production — and I teach the real workflow, not beginner button-clicking.

I built Calvoren Academy because the gap between learning editing and making money from it is real, and almost nobody bridges it honestly. YouTube can show you the skill; it can't give you structure, feedback, or the business side. That's what this is.

Straight answers.

Is Core enough to actually start freelancing, or do I need Pro?+
Core gets you fluent in the tool and gives you a real starter content plan — enough to start creating and posting on your own. But landing paid client work is really what Pro is built for, with real briefs, live feedback, and the pricing and pitching skills to close your first clients. If freelancing is the goal, Pro is where that actually happens.
Should I start with Core first, or jump straight into Pro?+
If you're completely new to editing, Core is the easier starting point — it builds the basics without overwhelming you. If you already know your way around the software, you can go straight into Pro since it includes everything Core covers anyway, so you're not paying twice for the same material.
I don't know my niche yet — should I still go for Elite?+
Elite is built around picking one lane — long-form, short-form, or podcasts — and going deep into it. It works best once you already have some direction, which is usually where Pro leaves you. If you're still figuring out what to focus on, start with Pro and move to Elite once your niche is clearer.
What's the difference between the three tiers?+
Core (45 days) gets you fluent in DaVinci Resolve and AI-assisted editing so you can create polished content of your own. Pro (3 months, weekly 2 classes) is the full freelance-mastery cohort — motion graphics, audio, and the business systems to start attracting paying clients. Do I need prior experience?+
No. We cover basics through recorded videos first. The live sessions assume you've watched them.
What if I miss a session?+
All sessions are recorded. You'll never fall behind permanently — but showing up live gives you feedback recordings can't.
When will I be ready to take clients?+
On the Pro tier, realistically during the final month or shortly after. We help you build the pitch before the cohort ends.
What platforms do we use?+
Zoom for sessions. Notion and Google Drive for all materials. Discord for community.
Is there a certificate?+
Yes — on completion.
What if ₹14,999 feels like a lot?+
One real estate walkthrough in India pays ₹3,000–₹8,000. The Pro tier pays for itself in 2–3 projects. That's the point. And if you're not ready for it yet, the Core tier is a lower-cost way to start.
